SmartSetter is a real estate recruiting platform that helps brokerages find and hire top talent. SmartSetter has helped brokerages of all sizes hire more agents, faster. The platform is trusted by some of the biggest and brightest names in the real estate industry, including Keller Williams, RE/MAX, and Coldwell Banker. SmartSetter provides a database of pre-screened candidates, a team of appointment setters, a scheduling tool, and a reporting dashboard to help you hire top talent.

In my role, I was responsible for gathering requirements from clients, implementing features, testing, and deploying them to production. This project included complex Mapbox visualizations, dynamic and advanced filter modules, Google authentication, and more. To achieve this, I collaborated with designers to convert wireframes into designs, and with backend engineers to get data in the needed format and integrate API endpoints. I used React, Mapbox, and AWS as the main technologies. One of my key achievements was developing and implementing a unique feature that significantly streamlined the customization process for the complex filter along with an intricate table interface. This feature not only enhanced the user experience but also made it easier for new engineers to get up to speed on the platform. By enabling easy reconfiguration of all elements, the learning curve for newcomers was significantly reduced, which led to faster integration and improved productivity. I am proud of the work I did on this project. I was able to develop a core functionality that is essential to the success of the enterprise product. I also created a separate web application portal for clients to access their data, which has made it easier for them to manage their data.
